Getting There

Most guests fly into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi. We arrange pickup from JKIA or your Nairobi hotel on Day 1.

Route Map

Getting to the Coast: Fly or Train

Fly (recommended, included in this package): Nairobi Wilson Airport to Ukunda, Diani's airstrip, takes about 1 hour, versus 6+ hours by road or rail. This keeps your 13 days focused on the parks and the beach, not transit.

SGR train (optional alternative): The Madaraka Express runs Nairobi to Mombasa in 5–6 hours, followed by a road transfer and Likoni Ferry crossing to Diani, another 1–1.5 hours. Scenic, but adds a travel day. Ask us if you'd prefer this option instead of the flight.
