Booking and Travel Information

When you book a safari, we may also collect the details needed to deliver your trip: travel dates, number of travellers, names and passport details (for park permits, flights and lodge reservations), flight information, dietary requirements, medical or accessibility needs you choose to share, emergency contact details, and travel insurance information.

If you contact us by email, phone, WhatsApp, or our enquiry forms, we keep a record of that correspondence so we can plan your safari and respond to you.

Lodges, camps, hotels, airlines, transfer operators and guides involved in your itinerary.

Our payment processor, to take deposits and payments and to issue refunds.
Service providers that help us run our website, email and booking systems, who must protect your data to our standards.
Authorities where we are required to by law.

Payments, Deposits & Refunds

A 20% deposit is required to secure a booking. Online card payments are handled by our secure payment provider, Pesapal. We do not store your full card details on our systems. We keep records of the payments you make and any refunds we issue, as required for accounting and tax purposes.

Refunds: If you cancel 30 days or more before departure, 100% of your deposit is refunded to your original payment method. Full cancellation terms are set out in our Terms and Conditions.

Data Retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it to plan and deliver your safari, handle any questions or complaints afterwards, and meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it securely.
