Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival — Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to Arusha
Your driver-guide meets you at JRO and transfers you to your lodge in Arusha in a dedicated 4x4 Land Cruiser. You'll go through a full trip briefing covering the route ahead, packing guidance, and what to expect on both the safari and beach legs.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you'll drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and baobab-lined terrain. Game drives run through the day, with the Tarangire River drawing consistent wildlife activity.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
A morning drive brings you to Lake Manyara, home to tree-climbing lions and a dense groundwater forest. Afternoon game drives along the lake shore offer flamingo sightings and hippo pools.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park (Central/Seronera)
You'll continue into Central Serengeti, entering through the Seronera Valley — a region with year-round resident wildlife regardless of migration timing. A game drive is built into the travel day.
Day 5: Central Serengeti Game Drives

Getting There & Travel Logistics
Fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to begin the safari. Your driver-guide meets you on arrival for transfer to Arusha. At the end of the safari portion, a short internal flight connects you to Zanzibar; internal flights typically restrict baggage to 15kg in soft-sided bags per person, so pack accordingly for this leg. Departure at the end of the trip is from Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) in Zanzibar.
