Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival — Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
Your driver-guide meets you at JRO and transfers you to Arusha or a nearby lodge to rest and settle in.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
Drive into Lake Manyara for its groundwater forest, flamingo-lined shores, and famous tree-climbing lions.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Tarangire holds some of Tanzania's largest elephant herds and its iconic baobab-studded landscape.
Day 4: Fly or Drive to the Central Serengeti
Enter the Serengeti's endless plains, home to the Great Migration for much of the year and resident prides year-round.
Day 5: Full-Day Serengeti Game Drive

Getting There & Travel Logistics
Your safari begins at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where your driver-guide meets you on arrival. Most international carriers connect through Nairobi, Amsterdam, Doha, or Dubai to JRO. After the crater-floor tour on Day 7, you fly or transfer to Zanzibar for the beach portion of your trip.
Departure
Your trip ends at Zanzibar International Airport (ZNZ) on Day 12, with departure transfers arranged directly from your resort. ZNZ has direct connections to Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Doha, and several European hubs, so onward international connections are straightforward.
