The 14 Day Kenya Safari North to Coast is a private Kenya safari that takes you from the wildlife-rich northern region to the Indian Ocean coast. The journey combines Samburu National Reserve, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, the Masai Mara, Amboseli National Park, Tsavo West and Diani Beach.

You experience very different sides of Kenya in one itinerary: rare northern wildlife in Samburu, rhino conservation at Ol Pejeta, Rift Valley landscapes and birdlife around Lake Nakuru and Naivasha, Big Five game viewing in the Masai Mara, large elephant herds and Mount Kilimanjaro views in Amboseli, the dramatic landscapes of Tsavo West, and relaxing beaches and warm Indian Ocean waters at Diani.

The safari is operated in a private 4x4 safari Jeep/Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, giving you flexibility during game drives and transfers. It is not a shared van safari. The itinerary can be adjusted according to your travel dates, preferred accommodation, wildlife interests and budget.

This route works particularly well for travellers who want more than a short Kenya safari. Instead of spending most of the trip travelling between a few parks, the 14-day format gives you time to experience northern Kenya, the Rift Valley, the Mara, southern Kenya and the coast.

Getting There

The safari starts in Nairobi, Kenya. Most international travellers arrive through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). A private airport transfer can be arranged to your Nairobi hotel or directly to the safari departure point.

For travellers already in Kenya, the safari can also begin from Nairobi hotels, Wilson Airport or another agreed location.

Route Map

Ending on the Coast

The final coastal section ends around Diani Beach/Mombasa. If you are flying home internationally from Nairobi, we can arrange a domestic flight from the coast to Nairobi and connect your transfer to JKIA.

For a long itinerary such as this, private routing gives you more control over departure times and allows the itinerary to be adjusted around flights and accommodation availability.
