Itinerary

Day 1: Pick Up Nairobi / Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Pick up from the Airport and leave for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, enjoy a long drive through the Nairobi-Nanyuki highway. Upon arriving Ol Pejeta, the guests can opt to have a meal for the day and relax in their camp. Thereafter, head for the rhino sanctuary where the black rhino and white rhinos rehabilitate and enjoy feeding of the animals. Get a chance to view wildlife that Kenya has to offer: lion, leopard and jackal thrive on the rich diversity of prey that inhabits the area. Return to camp for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, head out for a safari to the famous chimpanzee sanctuary. A guide will take you through a session on the chimpanzee breed and theory. Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Enjoy an early breakfast; shortly embark on a full day game drive. With the combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience. Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhino with its stunning forty specimens! Enjoy a game drive in the park where one could see reticulated giraffe, common, or Burchell’s, zebra, African elephant, Cape buffalo, warthogs, Water-bucks, Jackson’s hartebeest, lion, cheetah, leopard, Steinbok, striped hyena, Suni, Thomson’s gazelle and impala. Day 3: Ol Pejeta Conservancy / Lake Nakuru National Park

Early breakfast then head out for a morning game drive at the conservancy. Once fully thrilled by the game drive, depart for Nakuru National Park early enough for some afternoon game drive. On arrival, partake late lunch at The Cliff Tented Camp and settle in for later accommodation. Head out for the afternoon game drive at the Lake Nakuru National Park just in time for the scenic view of the thousands of flamingoes by the lake. Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park / Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Partake an early breakfast, and then leave for Masai Mara in time to have brief game drive depending on the time you arrive. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. This reserve is the best park for games in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network that allows for close range viewing and photography. Day 5-6: Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast; leave for a full day game drive carrying picnic lunch. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. This reserve is the best park for games in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network that allows for close range viewing and photography. Your game drive will include a visit to the sand river and the Mara River, which is a point of migration and a place to spot crocodiles and hippopotamus and a break for picnic. Your game drive will continue until 1700hrs, after which you will get out of the park for two hours of optional activities. Day 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve / Amboseli National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast, and then leave for a morning game drive at the Masai Mara Game Reserve. After a thrilling game experience leave for Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game drive within the park. Amboseli lacks the profusion of animal species found in the Mara, but the landscape provides limited cover so we have better chances of seeing some of the larger predators. Elephant, buffaloes, lions, gazelles, cheetahs, wildebeest, hyenas, jackals, warthogs, Masai giraffes, zebra, baboon, and waterbuck are all present in the park. Return for dinner and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge Amboseli.
Day 8: Amboseli National Park

Full day in Amboseli with game drives in the morning and afternoon to explore the park and have magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. View large herds of elephants, renowned to be residents of this park. Amboseli is popular with breath-taking views of Kilimanjaro and reliably good elephant viewing. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. You can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. Animals found here include the leopard, cheetah, wild dogs, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, crocodile, mongoose, hyrax, dik- dik, lesser Kudu, and nocturnal porcupine. Day 9: Amboseli National Park / Nairobi Giraffe Manor

Early breakfast at Ol’ Tukai Lodge Amboseli, then a morning game drive before leaving for Nairobi’s Giraffe Manor. Arrive in time at the exclusive boutique hotel (Giraffe Manor) for an exquisite lunch delicacy graced by the picturesque ecosystem. The hotel sitting at a 12-acre piece of land within an indigenous forest prides itself with the long necked resident Rothschild’s giraffes. They may visit in the morning or evening poking their long necks in the hotel windows in hope for a treat before retreating in their forest sanctuary. Day 10: Nairobi Giraffe Manor / Blue Bay Resort Zanzibar

Partake breakfast at the Giraffe Manor as you bond with the long necked Rothschild’s Giraffe then prepare for a short flight to Zanzibar after a drop off at the Wilson Airport. Arrive in time for lunch at Blue Bay Resort, https://www.bluebayzanzibar.com/
a luxurious resort set on the beach of Kiwengwa, North East Coast of Zanzibar.
Day 11-14: Bluebay Beach Resort Zanzibar

Wake up at a time of your choice, early enough to have breakfast then head enjoy the breeze of the Indian Ocean. Get in tune with Zanzibar sandy beach of Kiwengwa and take a swim in the Indian Ocean. Feel at home at the BlueBay Beach Resort and enjoy the ultimate coastal comfort, fine wining and dining, a host of sports and other leisure activities. Enjoy your stay there until you decide on flying back to your home country.
