Best ForCoastal travellers who want two parks without sacrificing beach time, honeymooners, first-time Kenya visitors, and photographers wanting both Kilimanjaro and Mara predator shots

This 5-day fly-in safari links Diani Beach to two of Kenya's most iconic parks, Amboseli and the Masai Mara, using three short scheduled flights instead of long road transfers. You start and end on the coast, so there's no backtracking through Nairobi.

Amboseli sits under Mount Kilimanjaro and holds one of Africa's densest elephant populations. The Masai Mara is Kenya's flagship reserve, home to the Big Five and, from July to October, the Great Wildebeest Migration. Combining both in one trip gives you Kilimanjaro views and big elephant herds, followed by the Mara's predator density and open plains, two very different safari landscapes in five days.

This is a private safari. You travel in your own 4x4 Land Cruiser with your own driver-guide in each park, no shared vans, no joining a group vehicle. Group size only changes how the vehicle cost is split, not who's in your vehicle.

Tour Cost & Pricing

Private safari, 4x4 Land Cruiser, based on a mid-range camp in both Amboseli and the Masai Mara. Rates are per person and include all three flights, full-board accommodation, park fees, and a private vehicle with driver-guide in each park. Per-person rates drop as group size grows because the vehicle and guide cost is shared.

Pricing note: Amboseli and Masai Mara National Reserve entry fees are government-set and reviewed periodically. Ask us for the exact current figure at time of booking; it's applied on top of the ground package. Conservancy-based camps in the Mara may add a separate conservancy fee. Getting There

The safari starts and ends at Diani Airport (Ukunda), with a short transfer available from Mombasa hotels too if needed. Scheduled flights connect Diani to Amboseli, Amboseli to the Masai Mara, and the Masai Mara back to Diani, all short hops on light aircraft, some with a brief interim stop at another airstrip, which is normal for this route.

Book early if travelling in July–October; this is the busiest window for both parks and flight seats sell out ahead of the migration season.

Baggage

Baggage allowance is 15kg per person, soft-sided bags only. Hard suitcases aren't accepted on light aircraft.
