7 Days Tanzania Classic Safari

We will cross the Serengeti savannahs, also known as "the endless plain" in search of giraffes, elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards and of course, the great migrations of wildebeest and zebras, a unique natural phenomenon in the world. Camp inside the National Park.

The Endless Plain, as its name suggests, is the largest and oldest National Park in Tanzania stretching north to the Masai Mara Reserve and bordering Lake Victoria to the west. It is, without a doubt, along with its neighbor Masai Mara, one of the best parks on the African continent due to its size and the large number of animals that inhabit it.

From the migration that moves millions of wildebeest in search of fresh pastures, to the constant spectacle of predator against prey, the fight for survival dominates its savannahs. It is the most impressive and overwhelming manifestation of wildlife that nature can offer. We will do the best safaris during the first hours of the morning and the last hours of the afternoon, when the animals go out in search of food.

There is no better description than the one provided by its own name, which in the Masai language means "Limitless Plain". The Serengeti Park is the best known and oldest in Tanzania. Its ecosystem goes beyond its borders, including other areas dedicated to wildlife, such as the Ngorongoro or Masai Mara in Kenya. Its fame is due in large part to the fact that every year it hosts La Migration, where more than a million wildebeests, defying dangers and fighting for survival, undertake a great journey in search of fresh pastures.

We will say goodbye to the endless plain with one last safari and once in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area we will descend into its mythical crater, which will amaze us with a unique ecosystem that is home to the highest density of fauna on the African continent. Later we will continue our way to the town of Mto Wa Mbu. Camp.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the largest extinct volcanic calderas in the world. Thanks to its almost thousand-year inactivity, inside it we find diverse ecosystems, plains covered with forests, savannah and two lakes, one salty and one freshwater. It has walls over 600 meters high and 20 km2 in diameter. Known as Noah's ark, it is the place in Africa with the greatest density and variety of fauna. With our 4×4 we will go down to the caldera where we will find all kinds of animals from rhinos, lions or giraffes, to ostriches, vultures or flamingos. The landscape of this place is so spectacular that it leaves you speechless. On our route we will enjoy a camping in a splendid situation, within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, at 2,200 meters of altitude, surrounded by a jungle nature, populated by a multitude of fauna. This day we will get up early to go to the Lake Eyasi area. Lake Eyasi is a small expanse of water with a high concentration of salt, in a semi-desert area, and is home to tribes such as the Bushmen and the Datoga. We will go in search of the Bushmen, this tribe is the only one that today can tell us about our most remote past. We will go hunting with the Bushmen and they will teach us their way of life and their daily customs.

In addition, in this area of Lake Eyasi we will also visit the Datoga, an interesting tribe that lives on livestock and cultivation, as well as qualified blacksmiths.After the picnic lunch, we will return to the city of Arusha and transfer to the hotel.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
