- Masai Mara park fees are seasonally adjusted — they rise significantly between July and December during peak season. This is a real cost we surface upfront, not bury in fine print.
- Private conservancy fees are charged separately and are worth every dollar — they give you off-road driving, night game drives, and fewer vehicles unavailable inside the main reserve.
- Fly-in safari from Nairobi costs more than road transfer but converts 5–6 hours of road to 45 minutes in the air. For shorter stays, this is time extraordinarily well spent.
- Budget-conscious travellers can still enjoy a deeply rewarding safari by choosing shoulder or green season dates, road transfers, and well-selected mid-range camps. The wildlife does not know what season it is.
