Our most complete Kenya-Tanzania itinerary. Fifteen days, starting with a scenic Rift Valley stop at Lake Naivasha, moving through Amboseli and the Masai Mara in Kenya, then Tanzania's Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, before finishing with four nights on Zanzibar's beaches.
The safari leg runs entirely in a private 4x4 Land Cruiser with a dedicated guide, no shared vans, no fixed-group departures. Naivasha eases you into the trip with boat rides and Crescent Island walking safaris before the longer game-drive legs begin. The Mara-to-Serengeti crossing happens at Isebania, with a vehicle and guide handover connecting you seamlessly to the Tanzanian leg.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). Private transfer and overnight in Nairobi.
Day 2: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha
Short drive into the Rift Valley, approximately 1.5–2 hours.
Afternoon boat ride on the lake and a walking safari on Crescent Island, home to giraffe, zebra, and waterbuck with no predators present.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park
Longer transfer south to Amboseli, crossing the Rift Valley floor.
Afternoon game drive on arrival, with Mount Kilimanjaro views.
Day 4: Full Day Amboseli National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives among Amboseli's elephant herds and Kilimanjaro's snowcap on clear mornings.
Day 5: Amboseli to Masai Mara National Reserve
Long transfer across southern Kenya to the Mara ecosystem.
Afternoon game drive on arrival.
Day 6: Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve
Full-day game drive tracking the Big Five and, in season, migration herds along the Mara River.
Day 7: Second Full Day in the Masai Mara
Second full day, exploring conservancies bordering the reserve for lower vehicle density.

Day 8: Masai Mara to Serengeti via Isebania Border
Depart early for the border. Kenyan-registered vehicles can't operate inside Tanzanian parks, so your guide and vehicle hand you off to a Tanzanian counterpart at the crossing.
Continue into the Serengeti, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive.
Day 9: Full Day Serengeti National Park
Full day exploring the central Seronera plains, some of the Serengeti's highest lion and leopard densities.
Day 10: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Morning game drive, then transfer to the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Afternoon arrival at your crater-rim lodge.
Day 11: Ngorongoro to Arusha – Fly to Zanzibar
Full-day descent into the Ngorongoro Crater floor, then transfer to Arusha for a scheduled flight to Zanzibar (ZNZ), approximately 1.5 hours via Kilimanjaro or Dar es Salaam.
Private transfer from Zanzibar's airport to your beach hotel. Safari ends here; the beach portion of your trip begins.
Day 12: Zanzibar – Beach Day
Full day at leisure on Zanzibar's beaches. No scheduled activities.
Day 13: Zanzibar – Stone Town or Spice Tour (Optional)
Optional half-day excursion into Stone Town's UNESCO-listed old quarter, or a spice farm tour inland.

Day 14: Zanzibar – Beach Day
