This 6-day, 5-night safari links Kenya's two most requested parks by scheduled flight: the Masai Mara for Big Five density and, in season, the wildebeest migration, and Amboseli for its huge free-ranging elephant herds set against Mount Kilimanjaro.
You spend three nights in the Mara and two in Amboseli, connected by a short flight via Nairobi rather than a 6–8 hour road transfer with no direct route between the two. A fresh private 4x4 Land Cruiser jeep and driver-guide meets you at each airstrip.
This is a private safari throughout, not a shared van tour. Your vehicle and guide are exclusive to your party at both parks.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Pickup from your Nairobi hotel or JKIA, then transfer to Wilson Airport for a 45–65 minute scheduled flight to your Mara airstrip.
Your driver-guide meets you at the airstrip. Check in, have lunch, then set out on an afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at your Mara camp.
Day 2: Full Day in the Masai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives with a bush lunch in the field, tracking predator movements and, in migration season, wildebeest and zebra crossings.
Optional Add-Ons
A hot-air balloon safari at dawn, or a guided Maasai cultural visit, both at an additional cost.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Amboseli
Final morning game drive before breakfast, then transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Amboseli, typically routed via Nairobi, roughly 1.5–2 hours total.
A new driver-guide meets you at Amboseli's airstrip. Check in, lunch, then an afternoon game drive, weather permitting, with your first Kilimanjaro views. Dinner and overnight in Amboseli.
Day 4: Full Day in Amboseli
Sunrise game drive, the clearest window for Kilimanjaro photos and elephant herds moving to the swamps. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views over the swamps.
Second game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Amboseli.
Day 5: Second Full Day in Amboseli
Another full day of game drives covering the swamps, dry lakebed, and open plains, with your guide adjusting the route around recent wildlife activity.
Optional Add-Ons
A guided Maasai cultural visit in the afternoon, at an additional cost.
Day 6: Amboseli – Nairobi
Final early morning game drive before breakfast. Check out and transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Wilson.
Drop-off at your Nairobi hotel or JKIA for onward travel.

Getting There
All flights depart from Wilson Airport (WIL) in Langata, Nairobi, not JKIA. If you're arriving internationally, we transfer you from JKIA to your hotel first, then to Wilson the next morning, unless timing allows a same-day connection.
There's no direct scheduled flight between the Masai Mara and Amboseli, so the Day 3 connection routes through Wilson Airport, with a short layover before the onward flight. Total journey time, including the layover, is typically 1.5–2 hours.
Baggage
Baggage is limited to 15kg per person in soft-sided bags only, for each flight leg; hard suitcases aren't accepted on the aircraft. We can store excess luggage at your Nairobi hotel or a Wilson Airport locker for a small fee.
