This 7-day private safari covers four of Kenya's best parks in one trip. Starting from Mombasa, you'll drive to Tsavo East for red-dust elephants, then Amboseli for Kilimanjaro views, then Lake Nakuru for rhino and flamingos, and finish in the Masai Mara for Big Five game drives.

You travel in a private 4x4 Land Cruiser with your own driver-guide. No group tours, no shared vans, no fixed strangers in your vehicle. This itinerary suits first-time Kenya visitors, coast-based travellers who want an inland safari add-on, and photographers who want more time per park than a rushed group circuit allows.

Tour Cost & Pricing

Private safari in a 4x4 Land Cruiser, per person, sharing. Rates vary by season and group size — smaller groups pay more per person because vehicle and guide costs are split fewer ways.

Pricing note: Peak season pricing reflects the Masai Mara migration surcharge. Narok County doubles Masai Mara gate fees from $100 to $200 per person per day starting in July, on top of standard high-season lodge rates. Rates are indicative — confirm exact figures against current lodge contracts before booking.

June to October and December to March give the best game viewing with dry conditions. July to September adds the wildebeest migration in the Mara, but also the highest Mara gate fees.

Not required, but recommended if you're short on time. Driving from the Mara to Mombasa in one stretch is a long day. Flying via Nairobi is faster and gives you a full last game drive.
