You begin your magical holiday as you board your flight to Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the hub of East and Central Africa, you will clear with customs as well as immigration This is the reason why you come to Africa, charge your cameras, grab your binoculars as your eagle –eyed driver guide will be quick to spot the wildlife. Your driver guide will meet you at Airport, introduction and briefing and drive to Amboseli national park passing through the Athi Plains where formerly the Burchells zebra, the Masai giraffe and smaller herbivores roamed about freely. With human encroachment the wildlife is confined to game parks. When you arrive at the park, the warden will give you several common sense rules: do not get out of your vehicle, except at designated spots; do not harass the animals in any way; keep to the tracks; no off-road driving; and remember that the animals always have the right of way. There is an advantage to this because one has to drive inside a park to be rewarded with the sight of many different species of animals. There is an advantage to this because one has to drive inside a park to be rewarded with the sight of many different species of animals. The roads in Amboseli have a loose surface of volcanic soil that is dusty in the dry season and impassable in the wet soil.
