This four-day, private, guided safari is built for travellers who want a proper introduction to Tanzania's northern circuit without long days on the road. Two nights in the Central Serengeti give you real time in one of the largest and most famous national parks in Africa — home to the Great Migration and strong resident predator populations year-round. From there the tour moves to the Ngorongoro Crater, a single enclosed caldera holding one of the highest concentrations of wildlife anywhere on the continent, before finishing with a game drive in Tarangire National Park.
Transfers between Zanzibar and the parks are by air, which keeps this itinerary compact: four days is enough to properly experience three major parks, with adequate time to actually watch wildlife rather than spend it in transit.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Zanzibar to the Central Serengeti
Your safari begins with a flight from Zanzibar to the Serengeti.
On arrival you're transferred to your camp in the Central Serengeti, with the afternoon free for your first game drive across one of Africa's most famous wildlife plains.
Day 2: Full Day, Central Serengeti
A full day of game drives around the Central Serengeti's Seronera area, known for strong resident populations of lion, leopard and cheetah alongside large numbers of plains game, year-round.
Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Transfer from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending onto the crater floor for a game drive through one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, held within a single enclosed caldera.
Overnight on the crater rim.
Day 4: Ngorongoro to Tarangire, Fly Back to Zanzibar
A morning transfer to Tarangire National Park for a final game drive, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab-studded landscape.
In the afternoon you fly back to Zanzibar, where the tour ends.

Getting There & Travel Logistics
This tour starts and ends in Zanzibar. Fly into Abeid Amani Karume Airport (ZNZ) on Zanzibar, or fly into Dar es Salaam (DAR) and take one of the daily ferries across to Zanzibar. We can help you select your international flights, but you'll need to book them yourself. A roundtrip airport transfer in Zanzibar is included in your tour price.
Internal Flights
This itinerary uses domestic flights to link Zanzibar with the Serengeti at the start of the tour, and to return from the Tarangire area back to Zanzibar at the end. Rates include a fixed budget for these internal flights; road transfers are used between the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire.
Before & After Your Tour
Additional accommodation before or after the 4-day tour can be arranged for an extra cost — useful if you want extra time on Zanzibar's beaches either side of the safari.
