This six-day comfort private safari runs from Arusha — sometimes called the "Geneva of Africa" for the international organisations based there — into Tarangire National Park, down into the Ngorongoro Crater, and on to the Serengeti, with a dedicated day in the Northern Serengeti tracking the Great Migration toward the Mara River. You travel in a private pop-up-roof 4x4 with a driver-guide throughout, staying in mid-range lodges and tented camps, including two nights in a luxury tented camp inside the Central Serengeti.
Available for couples, families and small private groups of 2–6 travellers — never shared with other parties.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your driver-guide collects you from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport with a picnic lunch, and you set off for Tarangire National Park. One of Tanzania's lesser-visited parks, Tarangire holds the highest concentration of wild elephants in the world — herds of up to 300 can be seen along the Tarangire River, drinking or cooling off with a mud bath among the iconic baobab trees. The area is also a paradise for bird lovers, with lions, leopards, cheetahs and even tree-climbing pythons found around the surrounding swamps. After a full day of game driving, you're driven to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
After an early breakfast, you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an extraordinary game drive with a packed picnic lunch. Often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World" and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the crater is renowned for its dense wildlife population and is one of the best places to spot the Big Five — lions and Cape buffalo are seen here almost year-round. After the crater, you drive on to the Serengeti in the afternoon for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Central Serengeti National Park Game Drive
A full day game drive through the Central Serengeti, starting pre-dawn with coffee before boarding your 4x4 to explore the vast savannah. Watch grazing zebra, towering giraffes and trumpeting elephants, spot elusive predators such as lions and cheetahs, and take in landscapes ranging from rocky kopjes to acacia woodland. Enjoy a picnic lunch under a shaded tree before continuing into the golden afternoon light.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti National Park Game Drive
After breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch for a game drive dedicated to the Great Migration. With more than a million wildebeest on the move, this is the Serengeti's headline spectacle — herds of wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River is one of the most dramatic sights in Africa. Alongside your private guide, you track the herds across the plains, with lions, cheetahs and leopards also frequently spotted nearby. Return to your tented camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Central Serengeti National Park Game Drive
After breakfast at camp, set out for a full day game drive in the Central Serengeti, one of the park's most wildlife-rich areas, with excellent chances to spot lions, elephants, giraffes and large herds of plains game. Explore the plains and kopjes of the Seronera area, where predators are often seen hunting or resting in the shade, with a picnic lunch served in the bush. Return to your camp in the Central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Central Serengeti Game Drive, Transfer to Arusha
Before your transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, enjoy a refreshing morning game drive for one last chance at the Serengeti's wildlife and landscapes while the animals are most active. Afterward, you're transferred smoothly to your onward destination.

Getting There & Travel Logistics
This tour starts and ends in Arusha. Fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), near Arusha, or into Arusha Airport (ARK) via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi. We can help you select your international flights, but you'll need to book them yourself. A roundtrip airport transfer is included in your tour price.

All game drives and transfers use a private, pop-up-roof 4x4 vehicle — the same vehicle throughout the tour, and never shared with other travellers.
